Potsdam has been and still is well positioned in the national and international film business in the more than 100-year tradition of filmmaking. That's why international stars like Kate Winslet, Tom Hanks and George Clooney are also virtually giving each other a hand. The media city of Babelsberg is home to classic studios, in which Marlene Dietrich and Heinz Rühmen have already filmed, as well as the outside backdrop of "Neue Berliner Straße". Recently, scenes for the series "Babylon Berlin" were shot here.
