Whether you approach the hospitable house from the Orangery Palace, the Belvedere or via the 75 stone steps: The sight of the Dragon House fascinates over and over again. The Restaurant & Café Drachenhaus is considered an insider tip in Potsdam. Built in 1770, the golden dragons on the corners of the roof gave name to the royal winegrower's house - with a view of Sanssouci and surrounded by an idyllic park. Up to 90 guests can be entertained in the stylish interior. Three sun terraces with 160 seats frame the ensemble. Enjoy exceptional treats of our seasonal fresh cuisine in historical ambience. We especially appreciate regional and fresh products. We use the best fish from local fishermen and meat from Brandenburg farms. Our bakery will spoil you with special delicacies made from freshly ground whole grain every day. We do not use any additives.
Since 2004, the Restaurant & Café has been awarded the "Brandenburger Gastlichkeit" seal of quality every year.
